The Short Answer

Gutter cleaning takes 1–2 hours per home. We hand-clear all debris, flush the system, check for leaks, and inspect downspouts so water actually drains away from your foundation. Every quote is free and depends on linear footage and access.

Inspection
We check the entire run, flag any sagging sections, loose hangers, or seam separations before starting.

Hand clear
Leaves, twigs, and roof grit removed by hand and bagged — never flushed downspouts (which is how clogs happen).

Flush & test
Full water flush from the high end — confirms the entire system flows and downspouts are clear.

Downspout check
We test that water exits 4+ feet from the foundation. Reroute or extend if it's pooling against the house.

Photos to your phone
Before and after photos of every section sent to your phone — proof the job was done right.

At minimum twice a year — once in late spring and once in late fall before the rainy season. Homes with overhanging trees (especially redwood, oak, or eucalyptus) need quarterly cleaning to keep ahead of debris.
Clean is the focus. Minor seam re-seals and re-securing loose hangers we'll handle on the spot. Major repairs (replacing sections, full re-hang) we'll quote separately and refer to a trusted gutter installer if needed.
Never. That's how downspouts clog at the elbow — invisibly. We hand-clear everything and bag it before flushing. Then we test the flush from the top to confirm flow.
Slightly — second-story access takes more setup time and ladder work. We always quote up front so there are no surprises after the job.
